A DMOZ lister , Yahoo Directory and with a good quality of traffic on a year by year basis, The Water Delivery Company is at the very core of our hydration basis. One of the first iterations of this website has been saved for posterity.

We spent time this week reskinning the site to bring it in line with our hydration brands online, and refreshed once again the site is ready for battle once more.

The Water Delivery Company rebrand was a fairly straight forward process with much of the core content remaining in place. We have refreshed the front page sliders and have also added in our latest offering for offices across London – The Varidesk.

The Varidesk is a retro-fit standing desk that we will be offering for rental or purchase to our existing water cooler customers across London. In the middle of June we will be offering free trials of Varidesks to existing customers who express an interest in trying this innovation.

An interesting piece was published today on Zenith confirming that the UK water cooler market is shrinking in terms of combined turnover.

While there has to be debate in some of the figures quoted in the article (especially the plumbed water cooler – POU – revenue), there is no doubt that this is how most water cooler companies are currently feeling

The focus on many water cooler companies in the UK has for too long been simply about bottled/plumbed water coolers, and from this report you can see that this is a stable (potentially slightly declining market).

However the wider market for hydration solutions still has a lot of growth potential in it. Water filtration in the home is a huge potential area of growth and one that companies with scale such as Virgin are now entering.

So although the traditional core UK water cooler market is still contracting, there are lots of room for growth for companies looking to look beyond the bottle/bottleless and into the wide potential of providing hydration solutions.
